Especialidad en sistemática de ungulados del Cenozoico, en particluar de los órdenes Perissodactyla (especialmente Rhinocerotidae) y Notoungulata. De forma más esporádica, estudios en otros grupos de ungulados nativos sudamericanos (Litopterna, Pyrotheria) y conjutos faunísticos en general. Los estudios sistemáticos se completan con estudios filogenéticos, bioestratigraficos y paleoambientales. Experiencia en trabajos de campo de forma continuada desde 1982 en yacimientos paleontológicos en España y Argentina(y previamente en algunos yacimientos arqueológicos españoles 1978-1981). *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
