Mis investigaciones se centran en el estudio de la tolerancia de macrofitas y su eficiencia en la retención de distintos contaminante, tanto en humedales construidos para el tratamiento de efluentes como en humedales naturales. Particularmente, realizo estudios enfocados al crecimiento y las respuestas morfológicas de las macrófitas a los distintos contaminantes y en la acumulación de los mismos en sus diferentes órganos y tejidos.
