La línea de investigación se incluye dentro de la microbiología de suelos con especial énfasis en interacciones microbianas. La línea de investigación tiene como objetivo general estudiar el rol de las levaduras del suelo respecto de su interacción con diferentes componentes del ecosistema suelo de bosques nativos en la Patagonia Andina. Como parte del estudio de las relaciones planta-microorganismo se lleva a cabo la prospección de características promotoras del crecimiento vegetal en levaduras y su potencial como herramientas biotecnológicas en producción agro-forestal sustentable. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
