Soy Ingeniera Agrónoma egresada de la Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (2007) y Doctora en Ciencias - Área Energías Renovables por la Universidad Nacional de Salta (2013). Trabajo en el Instituto de Ambiente, Hábitat y Energía (INAHE) del CCT-Mendoza como investigadora adjunta de CONICET. He participado en diversos proyectos de investigación en los que he abordado el estudio del impacto de la vegetación en el microclima urbano, en la habitabilidad de los espacios abiertos y en los consumos energéticos asociados. Entre las metodologías que utilizo se encuentran las mediciones de variables microclimáticas in situ, el cálculo de distintos índices de confort térmico, análisis estadísticos complejos y el uso de herramientas de simulación. El desafío que caracteriza mi trabajo es evaluar en forma integrada la interrelación existente entre la vegetación y la morfología urbanas. Es necesario revalorizar los beneficios ambientales de la vegetación urbana y minimizar los impactos negativos por medio de un diseño eficiente de los espacios abiertos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
