Desarrollo de modelos de optimización aplicando técnicas de programación matemática y programación disyuntiva generalizada para el abordaje de problemas típicos de diseño y planificación de procesos industriales y cadenas de suministros. Sintéticamente, los problemas abordados han sido los siguientes: 1- Optimización del proceso de corte, planificación y scheduling en fabricas productoras de cajas de cartón 2- Optimización de la planificación de compras de materias primas, seleccion de proveedores y contratos de compra considerando fallas en la provisión de materiales 3- Optimización de la planificación de la producción considerando incertidumbre en la demanda y contrato con clientes para negociar precios y niveles de servicio 4- Diseño y rediseño óptimos de cadenas de suministros en la industria de motores y dispositivos eléctricos sujetos a fallas, integrando la planificación de inventarios y niveles de servicio a clientes. 5- Diseño y planificación de cadena de suministros forestal y biorrefinerías de base lignocelulósicas. 6- Planificación del armado de carga de camiones. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
