Mi área principal de investigación se focaliza en el estudio de las faunas de moluscos del Paleozoico Superior de Gondwana. Las investigaciones abordan aspectos sistemáticos de los grupos y de esta forma comprender la información bioestratigráfica y paleogeográfica que cada grupo aporta al entendimiento de las cuencas. Actualmente también me encuentro trabajando en colaboración con colegas de Estados Unidos, Australia, Nueva Zelanda, Canadá y Rusia realizando estudios sobre la relaciones paleobiogeográficas de las faunas. Mi proyecto principal de investigación es el estudio de las faunas del Paleozoico Superior de Patagonia y su relación con las faunas gondáwinas coetáneas. Estoy interesada estudios paleogeográficos, paleoecológicos y evolutivos de las faunas de invertebrados del Paleozoico Superior, asi como en el ajuste de los aspectos sistemáticos y bioestratigráficos y su inserción en un contexto global. Adicionalmente estoy trabajando en colaboración con colegas de la FCNyM de la UNLP en el estudio de la fauna de bivalvos del Jurásico Temprano del Chubut. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
