Mi investigación se enfoca en las funciones ecológicas y los servicios ecosistémicos brindados por los insectos. En particular, me interesa comprender el papel de las interacciones ecológicas (depredador-presa, parasitoide-hospedador, planta-animal) en entornos naturales y antropizados. Me interesan diversos aspectos de la ecología de comunidades, comportamiento, fisiología y taxonomía de insectos. A largo plazo, mi objetivo es contribuir a la conservación de los insectos y promover los servicios ecosistémicos que proveen, en particular el control biológico de plagas por conservación en agroecosistemas y la restauración de ambientes degradados. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
