Estudio la vinculación entre imágenes, arte y sensibilidades durante la segunda mitad del siglo XIX argentino, atendiendo a la producción, circulación y consumo de material visual en el ámbito de Buenos Aires, así como sus interacciones zonales o regionales. Mi campo de interés comprende las imágenes en sus distintas materialidades, desde pintura, fotografía, grabado y dibujo a otras manifestaciones visuales como mapas, afiches, caricaturas o publicidades. Desde un punto de vista metodológico, mi énfasis está puesto en el enfoque microhistórico, hallando en el material icónico y su vínculo con los textos escritos un campo de experimentación enriquecedor del quehacer historiográfico. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
