La Dra. Lorena Noelia Sendín desarrolla su labor científica en el área de biotecnología vegetal aplicada a la citricultura, con énfasis en el desarrollo tecnológico orientado al manejo sustentable de enfermedades y la mejora productiva del cultivo. Su experiencia incluye transformación genética de cítricos mediada por Agrobacterium tumefaciens, cultivo in vitro de tejidos, diagnóstico molecular de patógenos y caracterización genotípica. Asimismo, trabaja en el desarrollo y evaluación de bioinsumos con actividad antimicrobiana y/o inductora de defensa vegetal. Ha realizado estadías de formación en instituciones de referencia en España y Brasil, fortaleciendo sus competencias en biotecnología y transferencia tecnológica. Actualmente coordina proyectos orientados a generar tecnologías aplicadas que contribuyan a la sostenibilidad y competitividad de la industria citrícola regional. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
