Mi desarrollo profesional se concentra en dos áreas-cruces: las imágenes Y la sociología. En ese sentido, mis tareas de investigación se concentran sobre las representaciones cinematográficas de los genocidios. Asimismo, en un segundo nivel, desarrollo las relaciones entre sociología e imagen (cine, fotografía, televisión), enfocándome en los usos y significados construidos y difundidos; pensando, en otras palabras, las formas en que nos relacionamos con y por medio de las imágenes.
