Mi formación profesional está basada en la investigación bioquímica y el desarrollo de compuestos tendientes a combatir ciertas enfermedades y/o a los agentes que las originan. Mi trabajo actual se enfoca en dos líneas principales: i) Estudio del mecanismo de acción, caracterización y reposicionamiento de compuestos antimicrobianos y; ii) Inmunoprofilaxis de enfermedades parasitarias. Poseo experiencia en el manejo de técnicas tendientes a la purificación, caracterización y estudios de mecanis... Mi formación profesional está basada en la investigación bioquímica y el desarrollo de compuestos tendientes a combatir ciertas enfermedades y/o a los agentes que las originan. Mi trabajo actual se enfoca en dos líneas principales: i) Estudio del mecanismo de acción, caracterización y reposicionamiento de compuestos antimicrobianos y; ii) Inmunoprofilaxis de enfermedades parasitarias. Poseo experiencia en el manejo de técnicas tendientes a la purificación, caracterización y estudios de mecanismos de acción de compuestos antimicrobianos naturales como ser: FPLC, HPLC, MALDI-TOF, microbiología, biología molecular, fluorescencia, clonación, diseño de vectores, expresión heteróloga, etc. A su vez, me perfeccioné en el manejo de técnicas de cultivo eucariota para ensayos in-vitro, incluyendo líneas y cultivos primarios (microglías, neuronas, macrófagos, entre otras) y para ensayos in-vivo en animales de laboratorio. Las principales técnicas utilizadas son: PCR, SDS-PAGE, ELISAS, WBs, inmunofluorescencia, medición de ROS, cytokinas, proliferación, manejo de radiactivos, etc.
