Mi investigación se centra en el estudio de las relaciones racializadas en Buenos Aires, de las categorías de negritud/blanquitud/mestizaje en intersección con la clase social y el género en el pasado y en el presente, de la desigualdad, el racismo y la discriminación, con énfasis en la afrodescendencia y en las formas de autorrepresentación y negociación que este colectivo utilizó y utiliza frente a la negación y la invisibilización. Mi investigación se centra en el estudio de las relaciones racializadas en Buenos Aires, de las categorías de negritud/blanquitud/mestizaje en intersección con la clase social y el género en el pasado y en el presente, de la desigualdad, el racismo y la discriminación, con énfasis en la afrodescendencia y en las formas de autorrepresentación y negociación que este colectivo utilizó y utiliza frente a la negación y la invisibilización. Asimismo, analiza la lucha histórica de individuos y asociaciones afro en el país, de sus demandas y derechos frente al estado y la sociedad. Para llevar adelante mi trabajo utilizo metodología antropológica e histórica con un abordaje colaborativo.
