Realicé mi tesis doctoral en el INGEBI en Ecología Microbiana (sistemas de barros activados) usando técnicas de DGGE, preparación de bibliotecas, FISH, real time PCR, cultivo y aislamiento, entre otras. Realicé un posdoc en el IBBM-UNLP en Microbiología Molecular aplicada a la prevención del patógeno Bordetella pertussis (Lab. Nac. de Referencia para la tos convulsa). Trabajé en Industria farmacéutica como Supervisora de Control de Calidad Microbiológico. Ingresé a CIC en el IIBIO-UNSAM, en el Lab. de Interacciones rizobia-leguminosas. Empleando técnicas de biología molecular y proteómica estudié distintos componentes bacterianos y su papel en la simbiosis que permite la fijación biológica de nitrógeno. Actualmente formo parte del Lab. de microbiología aplicada en el mismo instituto, en una línea también orientada a la microbiología del sector agropecuario. Los estudios se relacionan con el síndrome urémico hemolítico producido por la bacteria STEC, buscando optimizar la producción de un preparado vacunal económico destinado a ganado vacuno para disminuir su trasmisión a humanos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
