Las líneas de investigación sobre las que trabajo abordan problemas vinculados a la gestión eficiente de las operaciones industriales y en cadenas de suministro, mediante el desarrollo de metodologías y herramientas que dan soporte a la toma de decisiones sobre el diseño, la planificación y la ejecución de operaciones en dichos entornos. La complejidad de los desafíos motiva su tratamiento mediante enfoques de optimización novedosos, integrados y/o híbridos (modelos matemáticos, IA, etc.). Son ... Las líneas de investigación sobre las que trabajo abordan problemas vinculados a la gestión eficiente de las operaciones industriales y en cadenas de suministro, mediante el desarrollo de metodologías y herramientas que dan soporte a la toma de decisiones sobre el diseño, la planificación y la ejecución de operaciones en dichos entornos. La complejidad de los desafíos motiva su tratamiento mediante enfoques de optimización novedosos, integrados y/o híbridos (modelos matemáticos, IA, etc.). Son temas de investigación y desarrollo: el desarrollo de estrategias y herramientas de soporte para la planificación y la programación de operaciones predictiva, reactiva y dinámica en distintos dominios (industrias batch y manufactura discreta); así como también el diseño, la planificación y programación de operaciones logísticas (despacho, transporte y carga de contenedores) y de almacén (batching, picking, entre otras) en cadenas de suministros.
