Desde 1998 he trabajado en procesamiento digital de imágenes y visión artificial, iniciando mi trayectoria en el Grupo de Procesamiento Digital de Imágenes y, desde 2024, en el Laboratorio de Instrumentación Virtual y Robótica Aplicada (LIVRA), dependiente del Instituto de Investigaciones Científicas y Tecnológicas en Electrónica (ICyTE-CONICET-UNMdP). Mi labor se centra en el estudio y diseño de operadores matemáticos para segmentación, análisis de texturas y procesamiento de imágenes multiespectrales e hiperespectrales, con sólida experiencia en Morfología Matemática binaria, en niveles de gris y color. Además, diseño nuevas técnicas híbridas que combinan enfoques morfológicos, análisis multiescala y métodos estadísticos para extracción robusta de características, incorporando de forma complementaria algoritmos de inteligencia artificial en clasificación y detección.
