1. SEP-DEC 2017. Investigated how specific histone post translational modifications and ATP dependent chromatin remodeling enzymes interact in the regulation of global chromatin organization. Experience: transformations, yeast cell culturing, haploid mating, sporulation and tetrad dissection, PCR, spectrophotometry, micrococcal nuclease digestion, agarose gel electrophoresis, mononucleosomal DNA isolation, DNA fragment end repair, adaptor ligations, barcode integration, serial dilutions, Illumina deep sequencing analysis and Qubit Fluorometric Quantitation.2. JUN-AUG 2017 IFIBYNE. Assisted with experiments relating to the epigenetic regulation of alternative splicing levels in SMA affected patient samples and treatment using histone modifiers and ASO. Experience: human cell culturing, transfection, serial dilutions, RNA isolation, retrotranscription, PCR, agarose gel electrophoresis, radioactive PCR, western blots, qPCR. 3. FEB-MAR 2017 UoD.
