Mi principal experticia experimental se basa en: cirugía en ratas y ratones, estereotaxia, manejo de cultivos primarios y de líneas celulares, técnicas de biología molecular como clonado de ADN en plásmidos, cultivo de bacterias, construcción de virus adeno-asociados (AAVs), extracción y disección de cerebro de roedores, tests de comportamiento en ratas, inmunohistoquímica e histomorfología del cerebro, estereología aplicada al análisis de células del cerebro, extracción de ARN y proteínas de tejidos y cultivos celulares, western blot, secuenciación de ARN bulk y single cell, PCR real time, y realización de cultivos primarios de neuronas de embriones de rata. Utilizo esta batería de técnicas para estudiar la bioquímica del envejecimiento cerebral y de la enfermedad de Alzheimer, y para buscar posibles terapéuticas para revertir los déficits cognitivos asociados al envejecimiento y al Alzheimer. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
