Mi área de especialización es la Biología Estructural, incluyendo la determinación experimental y análisis de modelos tridimensionales de macromoléculas biológicas, haciendo uso de la Cristalografía de Difracción de Rayos X y diversos métodos computacionales; así como el modelado de macromoléculas biológicas utilizando métodos basados en aprendizaje automático e inteligencia artificial. Conocer los detalles de moléculas biológicas a nivel atómico es de vital importancia para entender el funcionamiento de enzimas, el mecanismo de acción de fármacos, así como la aplicación de Ingeniería Genética para modificar estas macromoléculas en busca de nuevas funciones biológicas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
