Específicamente tengo una fuerte experiencia en monitoreo satelital de fenómenos naturales y antropogénicos (p.e. sequías, incendios, inundaciones y uso y cobertura del territorio) y en la instalación y seguimiento de redes de monitoreo a campo (p.e. freatímetros; est. meteorológicas; eddy covariance; muestreos en agua y suelo). Adicionalmente tengo fuertes conocimientos vinculados a cómo los cambios en superficie alteran ciclos biofísicos y biogeoquímicos de la naturaleza. En algunas regiones ... Específicamente tengo una fuerte experiencia en monitoreo satelital de fenómenos naturales y antropogénicos (p.e. sequías, incendios, inundaciones y uso y cobertura del territorio) y en la instalación y seguimiento de redes de monitoreo a campo (p.e. freatímetros; est. meteorológicas; eddy covariance; muestreos en agua y suelo). Adicionalmente tengo fuertes conocimientos vinculados a cómo los cambios en superficie alteran ciclos biofísicos y biogeoquímicos de la naturaleza. En algunas regiones de Argentina y el mundo estos fenómenos están fuertemente vinculados. Por ejemplo el uso del suelo (y en particular el manejo agrícola), deja una fuerte impronta en el balance hídrico y éste sobre el riesgo de inundaciones y salinización en ciertos sectores de la llanura Chaco-Pampeana. Durante mi carrera de investigador científico y tecnológico deseo aprovechar estos conocimientos para mejorar 1) los sistemas de monitoreo y 2) avanzar en la comprensión del uso y manejo del territorio y de los impactos que genera.
