Mi campo de trabajo comprende el desarrollo de tecnologías para el control del Trypanosoma vivax. Comprende las áreas de diagnostico molecular, como PCR, qPCR y LAMP y serológico, como ELISA y test rápidos IFL. Además del diagnostico, trabajo en el área de tratamiento profiláctico al evaluar formulaciones inmunes de candidatos vacunales contra dicho parasito. Evalúo vacunas de subunidad, empleando proteínas recombinantes de T. vivax, formuladas con adyuvantes de ultima generación.
