Me dedico a la investigación en el área de fisiología vegetal y a la docencia universitaria. Mi trabajo actual se basa en estudiar el rol de los cloroplastos en las células oclusivas de los estomas a partir de líneas knock-out de Arabidopsis thaliana para los cloroplastos de dichas células, con el fin de aportar información sobre su impacto en el crecimiento, desarrollo y uso del agua.
