La actividad se centra en la búsqueda de inhibidores de enzimas relacionadas al metabolismo del ADN; precisamente en el aislado y caracterización de Productos Naturales, como también derivados de síntesis. Para ello utilizamos métodos espectroscópicos como RNM, IR-FT, espectrometría de masas y técnicas de Biología Molecular tales como PCR en sus diversas variantes, clonado, expresión y cultivos celulares. El aporte final se centra en contribuir en el diseño de nuevos "hits" para la búsqueda de ... La actividad se centra en la búsqueda de inhibidores de enzimas relacionadas al metabolismo del ADN; precisamente en el aislado y caracterización de Productos Naturales, como también derivados de síntesis. Para ello utilizamos métodos espectroscópicos como RNM, IR-FT, espectrometría de masas y técnicas de Biología Molecular tales como PCR en sus diversas variantes, clonado, expresión y cultivos celulares. El aporte final se centra en contribuir en el diseño de nuevos "hits" para la búsqueda de moléculas antivirales y antitumorales.
