La investigación que se lleva a cabo en el INCUAPA involucra el desarrollo de estudios específicos de las sociedades cazadoras-recolectores (y en caso del Delta del Paraná horticultores a pequeña escala) del Pleistoceno Final - Holoceno (i.e., tecnología lítica, cerámica y ósea, asentamiento y uso del espacio, estrategias de aprovechamiento de recursos), paleobiológico (sistemática, bioestratigrafía, etc.), el desarrollo y aplicación de estudios actualísticos (tafonomía, experimentación, etnoarqueología, paleoecología) e investigaciones arqueológicas de sitios post-conquista, hasta la consolidación del Estado Nacional. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
