He desarrollado proyectos de biorremediación microbiana en la Universidad de Antioquia. He desarrollado proyectos de biorremediación microbiana en la Universidad de Antioquia. Luego, trabajé como divulgadora ambiental en una reserva natural, planificando y desarrollando temáticas científicas y ambientales. En la Maestría, propuse un programa de formación en microbiología marina en Colombia. Como investigadora en el Centro de MinDefensa, diseñé y ejecuté proyectos científicos y de inversión con énfasis ambiental, gestioné sistemas de calidad, laboratorios, elaboré informes y artículos científicos, realicé validaciones, interlaboratorio y establecí el cepario. Posteriormente, en la Universidad Antonio Nariño, fui docente y coordinadora de laboratorios en biología, bioquímica y química. En la Institución Universitaria Digital de Antioquia, impartí clases de biología, desarrollo sostenible, balance de materia y energía, promoviendo proyectos de investigación en ciencias ambientales. Actualmente, cursando el doctorado en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, aplico nanotecnología mediante síntesis verde de nanopartículas de hierro y cobre, y procesos sol-gel para las mesoporosas.
