Desarrollo mis tareas científicas en el campo de la Sistemática, biogeografía y conservación de Plantas Vasculares, específicamente en la familia Asteraceae. Para lo cual, llevo a cabo estudios sobre la filogenia, basada en datos morfológicos y moleculares, de mi grupo de estudio. También, aplico diferentes metodologías en el campo de la biogeografía con el objetivo de investigar patrones espacio-temporales del mismo.
