Mi trabajo de investigación tiene como eje principal el estudio del comportamiento en el mar de predadores tope. Específicamente, estudio la ecología espacial de estas especies clave en el ecosistema marino. La información del comportamiento de los animales en el mar, es obtenida mediante sensores remoto (Telemetría Satelital, GPS, TDR, entre otros). Actualmente proceso y analizo esta información utilizando programas de análisis espacial (como ser ArcGIS) tanto para evaluar el comportamiento en el mar de estas especies, así como también sus interacciones con variables ambientales (Ej. Batimetría, SST, Chl, etc. obtenidas de imágenes satelitales) y/o distribución de pesquerías. Las especies modelo utilizadas para estos estudios son el Petrel Gigante del Sur y el Pingüino de Magallanes. Además, dentro de la misma línea de investigación continúo con el estudio de tortugas marinas que ha sido el foco de mi tesis doctoral. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
