Mis investigaciones se enfocan principalmente en la ecología de aves. Abarcan (1) comprender las interacciones ecológicas entre diferentes especies de aves y el papel que cumplen estas interacciones para el mantenimiento de las comunidades, (2) comprender los mecanismos, ventajas y desafíos del comportamiento social en aves, (3) evaluar mecanismos de comunicación entre diferentes especies, tanto auditivos como visuales. Entre las principales técnicas que he utilizado se encuentran los modelos lineales, modelos estructurales, análisis de redes, bioacústica y relevamientos de biodiversidad (aves, vegetación, artrópodos).
