Para el análisis de datos biológicos masivos es fundamental el desarrollo y manejo de herramientas computacionales. Utilizamos bases de datos biológicas, desarrollo de scripts y software en Python, R y BASH en un entorno Linux, para analizar datos provenientes de distintas fuentes, como NGS, RNA-seq, microarray, secuencias y estructuras de proteínas, entre muchas otras. Aplicando métodos estadísticos, machine learning y conocimiento biológico, desarrollamos herramientas y servicios para estudiar la evolución de las estructuras y secuencias de proteínas, sus interacciones y cómo afectan la salud humana. También estudiamos la relación entre el genoma, la expresión génica y la ancestría genética en muestras humanas para encontrar las causas y comprender mejor las enfermedades complejas *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
