Fernando Olsina is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Electrical Energy (IEE), a joint research center from the National University of San Juan (UNSJ) and the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET) in Argentina. He obtained the Mechanical Engineering degree in 2000 and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2005 from the UNSJ. He was visiting researcher for two years at Institut für Elektrische Anlagen und Energiewirtschaft (IAEW) at the RWTH Aachen in Germany and for one year at Lehrstuhl für Energiewirtschaft (EWL) at Universität Duisburg-Essen, Germany. He has published a significant number of scientific articles in the most recognized journals, conferences and books in the fields of long-term power market modeling, power investments under uncertainty, stochastic price modeling, and power reliability & energy risk management. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
