Mi línea principal de investigación se enfoca en estudio de las sexualidades y las identidades de género disidentes o no-normativas. He trabajado sobre matrimonio y relaciones de género en las sociedades indígenas y sobre delitos y transgresiones sexuales tanto desde su dimensión sociocultural, las experiencias de sus protagonistas y el punto de vista de la administración de justicia.
