Mis tareas consisten en la investigación, desarrollo y aplicación del método de los elementos finitos orientado a la solución de problemas de la mecánica del sólido. Específicamente, mi área de trabajo es la investigación de algoritmos de contacto/impacto y desgaste. Los algoritmos son aplicados para la resolución de problemas de aplicación y en general se utilizan en el diseño o mejora de válvulas de motores de combustión interna.
