Mi principal grupo de estudio es la subfamilia Cryptocephalinae (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae). También estoy muy interesado en la biología y los estados inmaduros de las especies de esta subfamilia, así como el estudio de otros aspectos de su fascinante historia de vida como la selección de la planta huésped y el comportamiento mirmecófilo. En términos generales estoy interesado en la historia evolutiva de los insectos, y en el uso de diferentes herramientas de análisis incluyendo Cladística, Cyber-taxonomía, manejo digital de especímenes, morfología comparada, Sistemática, Ecología y Biogeografía, para comprender la historia evolutiva de estos taxa. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
