El área de mi investigación se inscribe dentro de la historia política, durante los años de la primera mitad del siglo XIX, y si bien su ámbito territorial es el Río de la Plata, ubico mi trabajo principalmente en la provincia de Buenos Aires y mas recientemente la de Entre Ríos. Las fracciones federales, constituyen mi principal objeto de estudio en ambas provincias. Mi tesis de doctorado y toda mi producción (libros, articulos, etc), giran en torno a ella.
