Especialista en geología estructural y tectónica, particular experiencia en modelado análogo y numérico estructural. Fundador del Laboratorio de Modelado Geológico (LaMoGe-FCEyN-UBA-CONICET). La línea de investigación llevada a cabo en este laboratorio es única en el país y los resultados son comparables en su calidad a los de importantes laboratorios del primer mundo. El grupo de trabajo comenzó a aglutinarse a partir de licenciandos que posteriormente comenzaron sus trabajos doctorales bajo mi dirección. Ya son 7 los investigadores que se doctoraron dentro del LaMoGe y varios más que están siguiendo los mismos pasos. Los temas de investigación encarados por el LaMoGe tienen en general aplicación directa a problemas reales ya sea en la industria (hidrocarburos y minería) o en las evaluaciones de riesgos vinculados a causas geológicas. A nivel docente, me desempeño como Profesor Asociado de la FCEyN (UBA) Di clases en materias básicas como Introducción a la Geología y Levantamiento Geológico y en materias avanzadas como Geotectónica e Introducción a las Fajas Plegadas y Corridas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
