He estudiado el proceso adipogénico desde mi doctorado con técnicas varias: cultivo celular, proliferación, expresión de receptores erbB por western blot y PCR. Actualmente, con un enfoque más in vivo, me dedico a la fisiopatología del tejido adiposo en la obesidad y el síndrome metabólico, estudiando los aspectos bioquímicos, inflamatorios, oxidativos y circadianos en un modelo experimental y en pacientes clínicos.
