En paralelo, se especializó en la investigación de procesos de genocidio y terrorismo de Estado, actuando en el ámbito forense como Perito de Oficio de la Justicia Federal por diez años, contribuyendo a estudios académicos y judiciales sobre el tema. Participó como conferencista, docente y testigo experto en espacios académicos, DDHH y judiciales que abordaron el tema, realizando publicaciones y cursos. En los últimos años se especializó en problemáticas patrimoniales, realizando investigaciones co-participativas, estudios de impacto, capacitación, gestión intercultural y museología, en proyectos con pueblos originarios en Tucumán, Catamarca y Salta. Por último, lleva dieciocho años haciendo carrera docente universitaria, en las áreas de arqueología, patrimonio y museología.
