Dr. Campana is Assistance Professor at FI-UNER (Bioengineering career) and Researcher of CONICET since 2008.Since 1996 he has been teaching Fluid Mechanic, Finite Elements Method and Biomechanics at undergraduate and graduate level. The main body of his scientific contributions was done in the field of numerical simulation of fluid mechanics processes involving interfacial dynamics phenomena. In particular, he studied the effectsof surfactants in different capillary phenomena, as for example Rayleigh instability and dip coating problems. Today, his work i sfocused on the study of printing applications, specifically in modelling and simulation of liquid transfer phenomena between moving surfaces. He had also experience in modelling and simulation of biological processes and devices: for example, lubrication flows in synovial joints, stress analysis of hip and knee prostheses, ventricular rassistance devices and others. He had wide experience in the Finite Elements Method both as user and programmer/developer.
