Mi campo de investigación involucra el estudio de ecología de líquenes y de rasgos funcionales/fisiológicos que explican procesos del ecosistema en sistemas extremos y en sistemas montanos del Centro de Argentina. Además colaboro en proyectos internacionales impulsando la formación de investigadores en Paraguay y trabajando en conjunto con investigadores de la Universidad de Minnesota desarrollando técnicas y métodos para el estudio de rasgos funcionales en líquenes.
