Tengo experiencia en botánica, con énfasis en sistemática de fanerógamas (Poaceae y Begoniaceae), y actúo sobre los siguientes temas: estudios taxonómicos y filogenéticos en Poaceae (Panicoideae), sistemática de Begoniaceae y estudios florísticos en general.
