La línea de investigación en la que he estado trabajando tiene como objetivo contribuir al conocimiento de la evolución geológica del cinturón orogénico neoproterozoico Dom Feliciano (CDF). En mi formación de grado, estudié las mineralizaciones de turmalina que ocurren en el Complejo Paso del Dragón (Uruguay). La investigación consistió en análisis de química mineral, los cuales realicé en SEM-EDX (UdelaR, Uruguay). A su vez, en el marco de un proyecto, realicé análisis mediante EPMA y LA-ICP-MS (USP, Brasil). Actualmente realizo la Maestría en Geociencias estudiando el sector austral del CDF. La investigación involucra estudio de la deformación en meso- y microescala, caracterización petrológica, análisis geoquímico y geocronología. Por otra parte, desde el 2015 desarrollo actividad docente en el Instituto de Ciencias Geológicas (Facultad de Ciencias, UdelaR). La principal labor ha estado vinculada a los cursos de Mineralogía y Petrología Ígnea y Metamórfica, en los cuales estoy a cargo de clases teórico-prácticas con aplicación de microscopía óptica. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
