Ecología marina con especialización en ecología trófica. La mayor parte de mis trabajos tienen peces como objeto de estudio aunque también he trabajado con invertebrados marinos. Para abordar las preguntas de ecología trófica sobre las que actualmente trabajo utilizo principalmente una aproximación indirecta basada en análisis de isótopos estables de C y N. Los resultados de mi trabajo tienen por objeto final su aplicación al manejo de los sistemas marinos con una aproximación ecosistémica y al modelado de tramas tróficas. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
