Egresado de la FCA-UCLV, donde obtuvo los títulos de Ingeniero Agrónomo (2005), Magister en Biotecnología Vegetal (2010) y el de Doctor en Ciencias Agrícolas (2015). Desde 2005-2015 fue profesor en el departamento de Agronomía, cátedra de Fitopatología, UCLV. Participa como docente invitado en la Escuela para Graduados, FCEFyN (UNC-Córdoba); FCEQyN y FCF (UNaM-Misiones); Facultad de Agronomía (UNCA-Catamarca). Actualmente dirige y/o ha conducido varios estudiantes de doctorado, maestría, invest... Egresado de la FCA-UCLV, donde obtuvo los títulos de Ingeniero Agrónomo (2005), Magister en Biotecnología Vegetal (2010) y el de Doctor en Ciencias Agrícolas (2015). Desde 2005-2015 fue profesor en el departamento de Agronomía, cátedra de Fitopatología, UCLV. Participa como docente invitado en la Escuela para Graduados, FCEFyN (UNC-Córdoba); FCEQyN y FCF (UNaM-Misiones); Facultad de Agronomía (UNCA-Catamarca). Actualmente dirige y/o ha conducido varios estudiantes de doctorado, maestría, investigadores visitantes, entre otros. Subsidios como IR de la IFS, Stockholms län, Suecia; FONCYT, PIP CONICET, INTA (Argentina); PNUD. Además, becas del Food Security Center (FSC), University of Hohenheim, Alemania 2013; Interna Postdoctoral 2016; Postdoctoral Extraordinaria 2020, CONICET; Fundación Carolina-CSIC, España 2024. Desde 2021 se desempeña como investigador en la UFYMA (CONICET-INTA). La investigación se enmarca principalmente en estudios epidemiológicos y evolutivos como herramientas de manejo de enfermedades virales en frutales andinos y tropicales.
