Manejo técnicas ecológicas, fisiológicas y moleculares relacionadas con el estudio de peces autóctonos e introducidos. Por ejemplo análisis de la musculatura, del crecimiento, del metabolismo, de la energética, de la estructura y patrones de cambios en la poblaciones, así como estudios genéticos y genómicos de las mismas. También estudio el efecto de cambios en la variables ambientales en estos procesos (por ejemplo, salinidad, temperatura, pH, etc).
