La línea de investigación es "Abordaje integral mediante la articulación de saberes y de nuevas estrategias para el desarrollo de productos y procesos novedosos aplicables a la salud y al ambiente". Estudio micelas inversas y vesículas unilamelares creadas con surfactantes líquidos iónicos y fármacos, además de desarrollar el método de síntesis de estos novedosos compuestos. También estudio la síntesis de nanopartículas de quitosano cargadas con fármacos. En todos estos nanosistemas analizo características fisicoquímicas, encapsulación, liberación y toxicidad. Utilizo diferentes técnicas como DLS, SLS, potencial Zeta, TEM, SEM, SAXS, FT-IR, RMN, HPLC, viscosidad, espectroscopía de absorción UV-Vis y emisión de fluorescencia. También estoy desarrollando metodologías de estudio de residuos orgánicos mediante RMN. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
