Mi trayectoria profesional se enmarca en la biología molecular y la agrobiotecnología. Durante mi doctorado, me formé en el estudio de proteínas de membrana. Asimismo, me capacité en bioinformática, microscopía de fluorescencia y análisis estadístico. Durante mis estudios de posdoctorado trabajé en el desarrollo de un cultivar transgénico de alfalfa tolerante a múltiples herbicidas. Durante este período adquirí experiencia en microbiología, ingeniería genética y transformación genética de plantas (Arabidopsis y alfalfa). Actualmente, como investigadora, me dedico al mejoramiento genético de alfalfa, con enfoque en la identificación y caracterización de nuevos genes asociados a estrés abiótico. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVA
