El área de experticia se centra en el dominio de un entorno de modelado avanzado que permite simular, optimizar y realizar ajuste de parámetros de sistemas de alta complejidad. Este entorno es utilizado para modelar reacciones de homo y copolimerización mediante técnicas de polimerización radicalaria por desactivación reversible (RDRP, por sus siglas en inglés) u otros mecanismos. De este modo se pueden predecir las propiedades de los polímeros o determinar las políticas de operación para la obtención materiales de alto valor agregado. Por otro lado, también se poseen capacidades en la síntesis de polímeros de estructura controlada por las variantes de RDRP conocidas como ATRP (Atom Transfer Radical Polymerization), ARGET ATRP (Activator ReGenerated Electron Transfer ATRP) y SET-LRP (Single Electron Transfer-Living Radical Polymerization). En este sentido, no sólo se han desarrollado los procedimientos de síntesis de estos materiales, sino que también me he capacitado en utilizar o interpretar las técnicas analíticas para determinar las propiedades de los materiales producidos. *Information provided by the agent in SIGEVALines of Investigation
