Dentro del área de actuación que desempeño en C y T cabe destacar el estudio sistemático, evolutivo y biogeográfico de los componentes megaflorísticos y aquellas técnicas relacionadas a las estimaciones y cálculos de paleotemperaturas (CLAMP, LMA, etc) a través de cuyos valores puede reconstruirse el clima bajo el que los fósiles analizados se depositaron como también realizar reconstrucciones biogeográficas de las paleofloras estudiadas.
