Formación en fenómenos de transporte en medios porosos (percolación) y en transporte y manipulación de materiales granulares. Propiedades estadísticas, fenomenos complejos. Caracterización por métodos de simulación (pseudo dinámica, Elementos discretos y métodos de Monte Carlo) y experiencia en desarrollos experimentales con fuerte aplicación a problemas de segregación, mezcla y flujo de materiales granulares en la industria (sobre todo en Ingeniería civil).
