Mi trabajo se dedica específicamente al análisis de la historieta y el humor gráfico en una variedad de perspectivas de análisis. Originalmente me interesó el campo de los comics independientes norteamericanos, tema al que dediqué mi tesis de grado. Luego investigué el campo de la caricatura política y el humor gráfico en Argentina entre 1955 y 1976, tema de mi investigación de doctorado.Actualmente mi trabajo concierne a las relaciones entre la industria de la historieta norteamericana y argen... Mi trabajo se dedica específicamente al análisis de la historieta y el humor gráfico en una variedad de perspectivas de análisis. Originalmente me interesó el campo de los comics independientes norteamericanos, tema al que dediqué mi tesis de grado. Luego investigué el campo de la caricatura política y el humor gráfico en Argentina entre 1955 y 1976, tema de mi investigación de doctorado.Actualmente mi trabajo concierne a las relaciones entre la industria de la historieta norteamericana y argentina plasmada en la figura de Jules Feiffer.Incorporo inspiraciones de la historia cultural, el análisis de medios, la historia del arte, la semiótica y la sociología para considerar a la historieta como un medio, una industria, un arte y un oficio en el cual tanto sus creadores como los medios en los cuales se desempeñan se encuentran surcados por múltiples tensiones.
