Me dedico a la investigación en bioinformática y biología estructural, estudiando el continuo entre el funcionamiento fisiológico de las proteínas y la formación de agregados patológicos, y su relación con diversas enfermedades. Abordo estas problemáticas desde una perspectiva estructural, integrando datos de secuencia y estructura a gran escala y aplicando técnicas de inteligencia artificial y aprendizaje profundo para el análisis y la predicción de fenómenos de agregación y condensación biomo... Me dedico a la investigación en bioinformática y biología estructural, estudiando el continuo entre el funcionamiento fisiológico de las proteínas y la formación de agregados patológicos, y su relación con diversas enfermedades. Abordo estas problemáticas desde una perspectiva estructural, integrando datos de secuencia y estructura a gran escala y aplicando técnicas de inteligencia artificial y aprendizaje profundo para el análisis y la predicción de fenómenos de agregación y condensación biomolecular. He contribuido al desarrollo de recursos bioinformáticos de acceso abierto, como DisPhaseDB y AggrescanAI, orientados a consolidar información dispersa y facilitar la investigación en proteínas desordenadas y procesos de agregación amiloide. Asimismo, complemento estas actividades con la docencia universitaria y la formación de estudiantes, promoviendo la incorporación de metodologías computacionales en la biología molecular.
